The District has three fire stations:

  • Station 1 on Mammoth Creek Road
  • Station 2 at 1325 Ranch Drive in Elk Ridge

  • Call 911 immediately if you are injured and need assistance.

  • Keep a disaster supply kit in your house and/or car.
  • Only use approved fire pits for campfires.
  • Do not use fireworks.

UTAH FIRE SENSE

CLOSED FIRE SEASON

June 1st- October 31st the state of Utah goes into statutory closed fire season. Not to be confused with Fire Restrictions.

The burn season has closed until November 1st in Kane County. During the closed fire season campfires and charcoal grills are still okay in the unincorporated and state lands of the County. As the hot dry period continues, that can change pretty quickly and restrictions can be implemented. We encourage everyone to keep up to date and the fire conditions at https://utah-fire-info-utahdnr.hub.arcgis.com/ and for further information on burn rules https://ffsl.utah.gov/
